About me
Hi, I'm Klemens. I am a masters student in Robotics at D-MAVT at ETH Zurich. Recently, I completed my Master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Krause, Bhavya Sukhja and Chenhao Li at the Learning and Adaptive Systems Group (LAS).
I was previously a research assistant at LAS and at the Robotic Systems Lab. I was also a teaching assistant for the course Probabilistic Artificial Intelligence, for Engineering Materials and Production I at the IWF; and previously for Control Systems II at the IDSC and a student coach for the SpaceHopper project at RSL.
I am most interested in Advanced Control Methods (Optimal Control, Model Predictive Control) as well as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applications in Robotics, like Model-based RL or exploration in RL. Along the way, I have been fortunate to receive an ETH Excellence Scholarship, an Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award from D-MAVT, and recognition for academic performance during my exchange at Northwestern University.
Besides my studies, I am an elected member of parliament for Zug. Read more about it on this page.
